Wow, I know I am not the only one who wishes they were Mark Zuckerberg. I mean who can turn down a billion dollars. Ah well I guess he is worth more now, anyway. I never have used face book but I do like that people cannot view your profile unless you both agree to it. Like the reading said I like how it stops fake postings or people. I work with a few girls, and most of what the do is create new MySpace accounts, just to try and get a lot of friends. It is still very hard for me to blog, I sometimes I wonder why anyone would want to here about my boring life or what I feel about Face book.

I agree...how can you turn down ONE BILLION dollars. But, they guy did go to Harvard, so I am guessing he (and anyone advising him), knew exactly what they were doing.
I also agree that blogging is still a bit foreign to me. I always hated hearing people say, "my blog", or I blogged about this. Who cares? It is nice to know that everyone has somewhat of a forum to speak there minds though. Again, just like Facebook, I think this class will help me get adjusted to the world of blogging. I don't think I will continue it after this class because who wants to read about my life?
I agree - why would anyone want to read my thoughts about Myspace and Facebook. Before this class, I never would have read someone's blog about these subjects. Now I think it's interesting, but I don't know if I'll continue it after the class.
Yes we all wanna be billionaires-that said. I also agree with you guys. Blogging has never been my thing, and I'm trying my best to stay on top of it. It is somewhat interesting though, to see that some people are thinking some of the same things I am. I was shocked when I read the course overview and learned that we were required to use a Facebook account. Not to mention I had a previous Facebook account, but had forgotten my original username and password. So, I had tp create a bran new one. What can I say, once I created my Myspace account, Facebook got lost in the wind.
When I first signed up for MySpace I did like some of the "silly" features like choosing a song and background graphics, but that is less important to me now. I like the more mature look and features of Facebook. I would definitely say that once you reach your late 20's MySpace isn't the same. Like Nathaniel said, some girls go on MySpace to get a lot of "friends" and probably to meet people and talk to friends, but some of us that are a little older (mid-late 20's) most likely go on to keep in touch with friends we don't see on a normal basis, and I think the next step for 20-30 year olds will be to make Facebook a big part of business networking.
I know, How can you turn down that kind of money? But what's depressing is when its people younger than you doing these amazing things. I would have never thought of something like that.
