Webkinz
Webkinz, wow my niece loves these things. They are pretty cool; they are stuffed animals that come with a web code. You can use that web code to take care of them and act like they are real animals. You have to feed them and let them play with other Webkinz. I love to see my niece who is 14, go online and feed her pets. Also one of my co-workers sons is 4 and he knows how to go online and feed his little dog, its pretty cool They are very much like a Digipet, but at least they are something you can hold

I remember when Danielle and Jenny went on NeoPets all the time (when I was supposed to be tutoring them), and since I was having such BAD luck with Second Life, I thought I should start with an easy, more kid-friendly site...so now I have a NeoPet. His name is Jaxlee.
I work at the public library, and there is a woman who comes in regularly and she is nuts for those things. She spends money like crazy on them, registers them for herself, for her grandkids and she even bought & donated about 10 of them and we gave them away as summer reading prizes for the kids. Even without a registration we were able to explore the site a little. It is a cute place for kids.
